Me and my girl on July 4th. We went on a picnic with daddy! |

I started strictly doing the Dr. Brewer diet this week. It is very difficult to eat that much food
and eat that many times a day. It is
roughly 2600 calories a day, 85-125 g protein and also focuses on “enough”
salt. It is hard to fit all the food in
before evening and I have yet to eat 7 times a day as recommended (breakfast,
morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, bedtime snack, middle of the
night snack). I am lucky if I eat 4 or 5
times a day. I am getting VERY sick of
the same foods (cottage cheese, eggs – 2 a day!, yogurt smoothies), but I am
VERY thankful for my Vitamix http://www.vitamix.com/
! I use it every day – it is the
quickest, most powerful blender I’ve ever seen.
It makes things completely smooth and even makes hot soup right in it in
minutes! BTW, if you want to buy one, I
am an affiliate and get you free shipping, so contact me if that’s the case.
I cannot believe how “on track” I am with diet, exercise and
water. I’m doing great, overall (but
still can’t give up coffee!). I am doing
much better than I ever expected. It
struck me how much easier it was to be pregnant with Annika. I was only working Tue-Thurs and had weekends
to get ready for the baby or travel to see Tim, as he had already moved to VA. It was also easier because I had no one to
take care of except myself. Now I have
Annika and Tim with me every day to feed and take care of!
I saw the baby move on July 2! It was so cool! The baby moves SO much now. I love it!
I just wish I could enjoy eating more!
I get to eat some good things, but many things I eat over and over and
it is hard to fit it all in! I never feel
hungry, so I have to force myself to eat.
I feel stuffed all the time.
YUCK!
We are trying to pick out names. Annika likes some we don’t like and Tim and I
can’t agree on ONE boy OR girl name. It’s
really funny though. Annika talks about
her “brother” by a name SHE picked out!
Tim gets to choose the name and I just have to approve, since I picked
out Annika.
