How we found out - due 7/2/09

Tim and I found out we were pregnant the soonest one probably could. Since we have been doing Natural Family Planning http://nfpandmore.org/, we knew exactly when I was fertile and achieved pregnancy the very first week we tried. Our date of conception was October 10, 2008. At the end of the month, there is a temperature rise that usually lasts 14 days, then drops again at the beginning of the next cycle. Well, if one is pregnant, the temperature will stay up for 21 days instead of 14, and stays up the entire pregnancy.

The week I was "counting" the days, I was staying with my twin sister, Heather in Minnesota. I arrived on Oct. 24th, which was day 14 of temperature rise. Each day I was there I took my temperature (which we do every day for NFP anyway) and marked it down. So by day 16 or 17 I was sure I was pregnant and told Tim on the phone. A weird thing happened on Sunday October 26th - the 16th day of temperature rise. I already suspected I was pregnant and Mom came to Michelle's for Michael's confirmation, which was why I was there (and to see Heather's babies who were boprn on Aug. 15th - our borthday). Mom waled into the kitchen and said "are you gonna have babies?" I thought it was so odd. It was like she had a intuition about it. I just told her yes. She asked me if were were trying and I said yes. I was so surprised, she never really knew until we told her.
That weekend I already had some pregnancy symptoms, like bloating, fatigue, backache and hunger. And Heather noticed one day that my rings had turned my fingers gray - a sign of a ph change that occurs in pregnancy. It was so weird. Then on day 21, it was official, but we decided to take a test on Nov. 2 when I got home. Of course it was positive and we were thrilled.
My due Date is July 2, 2009.
